About the Truck
THE GOOD
- Although it's called a 1500HD, it is a true 3/4 ton
- Full crew cab and 7ft box
- Auto, high & low 4x4 auto transfer all work great
- Trans & engine don't miss a beat
- 6L V8 allows for heavy towing
- Brand new tires (basic but do the trick)
- Fresh oil change before she was off the road
- Trailer hitch & after market brake controller
- Touch screen Deck/ bluetooth
THE BAD
- Gas gauge is temperamental
- Needs power window panel ($50@wreckers). Still works with some love.
- Stereo causes power drain. Fuse currently pulled.
- Blown original speakers
- Passengers door needs force to close. Hinge worn out
- Driver side lock cylinder doesn't match
- Needs alignment (just replaced tie rod end)
Word of warning, if you buy this truck you may spontaneously grow a pair, load up the crew and start cutting firewood! Look into getting a wood stove installed.
